Terms of use

VadPosts reads your website, writes social posts for your business and schedules them. You pay monthly or yearly, you can stop whenever you like, and what you put in stays yours. The rest of this page is the detail.

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Vadstor Management Solutions LLC, doing business as Vadstor Solutions, at 47 Shady Drive, Indiana, PA 15701, United States. Company number: 14323133. In the rest of this page that is "we" and "us", and you are "you".

Signing up

You need a working email address, or a Google account if you would rather sign in that way. Keep your password to yourself. If you invite other people onto your account, what they do counts as you doing it, and you can take their access away on the team screen at any time.

You need to be 18 or over, and to be using this for a business rather than on somebody else's behalf without their say-so.

What the product does

You give us your website address. We read the pages, ask you some questions about how your business sounds, and write posts from that. You look at them, change what you want, and either publish straight away or book them for later. The picture cards are made on our own server. Nothing is published until you tell it to be.

What it costs

Your first month on Starter is $9. That is the first month only. After it, the price above is what you pay.

Prices are in US dollars and do not include any sales tax or VAT we have to add. Payment goes through Stripe. We never see your card number.

Stopping

Cancel from the billing screen whenever you want. Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. We do not refund part of a month or part of a year.

If a payment fails, Stripe keeps trying for about three weeks, and we do not cut you off while that is happening. Posts you have already booked still go out. If it never goes through, the account stops being able to make anything new, and what is already there stays where it is until you export it or delete it.

Your words and your pictures

Everything you upload or paste in is yours and stays yours. You are giving us permission to store it, work on it and hand it to the services that actually put the post on the internet. That permission ends when you delete the thing, or close the account.

We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train any model. The company whose service writes the drafts says the same about what we send them. The privacy page names them and says what each one gets.

The posts the product writes

They are drafts. A machine wrote them from what it read on your website, and it can get things wrong: a price that has moved, a claim you cannot back up, a name spelled badly. Read a post before it goes out. Once it is published it is in your name, and you are responsible for it.

We cannot promise a post is unique. Another business in the same trade may well get something that reads like it.

Connecting your social accounts

Each network has its own rules and its own agreement with you. They can refuse a post, take one down, or close an account, and we cannot overrule any of that. Connections also expire and sometimes break. When a post cannot go out you will see it on your results screen as failed, with whatever reason the network gave.

What you cannot use it for

Anything illegal. Posting as somebody you are not. Content you do not have the rights to. Anything a network's own rules forbid. Accounts set up in bulk to spam. If we see any of that we will tell you, and if it carries on we will close the account. Where we can, we will give you a chance to export your data first.

What we do not promise

We will try to keep it running and we are not promising it always will be. Posts go out through other companies and through the networks themselves, and any of those can be having a bad day. If a post misses its slot because of that, you will see that it failed so you can send it again.

If something goes wrong

If we end up owing you something, the most it can come to is what you paid us in the twelve months before. We are not liable for business you did not win, posts that did not land, or anything a social network decided to do. None of this takes away rights you have by law that cannot be signed away.

Ending it

You can close your account from the settings screen, and that erases your data. The privacy page says what goes and what we are obliged to keep. We can close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever stop running the product we will give you notice and enough time to export everything.

Changes to this page

We will change it as the product changes, and the date at the top says when we last did. If a change affects what you pay or what we do with your data, we will email you before it takes effect.

The law that applies

The law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the United States, applies to these terms.
